It’s been weeks since that big typhoon and the flooding in Nagoya, but my rooftop is a shallow pool of rainwater. I’ll do my best to get it drained before Tuesday so we can enjoy the nice autumn air up there. Just remember to keep voices low out there after 9pm in order to avoid a visit from the police. They’re not much fun to hang out with, unfortunately.
In other news, Mie is out of the hospital for a couple weeks again. She’s about halfway through her chemo treatments now and living up to her longstanding reputation as a consummate badass. If you’ve been wanting to catch up with her, you can find probably her at the Open Door with her girlfriend on Tuesday.
